Dear Sufi Trail friend ,

Worldly travels seem distant, merely inner travel and sweet travel memories in our mind for now. Our movements are smaller to save each other. Our hearts and minds go out to all people who are affected and we hope to give a sparkle with our news. In the spotlight the positive news of our Sultans Trail friends. The first of the three-part Sultans Trail pilgrim series on Fridays has started on BBC2. Ready to watch the road to Istanbul.

love,

Johannes Norz

Our Austrian couple Johannes and Elisabeth Norz walked the complete Sufi Trail and wrote a beautiful article about it. It appeared in an Austrian magazine called "Weitweg" for the German readers among us very nice to get an impression of the Sufi Trail. Johannes and Elisabeth are professionals in speed and have identified many bottlenecks in addition to this beautiful article, a valuable contribution to the important details of our Sufi Trail route.
in Weitweg: It was a rather remarkable gift I found under the Christmas tree last year. It didn't look like a book. At the opening a hat fell out, a few stickers, a credentials pilgrimage passport and two hiking guides: the Sufi Trail by Iris Bezuijen and Sedat Cakir..read more

Traveling from home

For those who like to read, there is a sea of digital books, audio and more. 3 fun digital travel tips:

Safely home in South Korean

Just before the virus, Jin Seok Bang travelled the world and cycled the Sufi Trail as icing on the cake. Once home, Sufi Trail updates follow on his Instagram. Also nice to enjoy the trips that have been made. On the website of Jin Seok Bang you will find a beautiful blog of where he has updated his journey. He said he is a few years behind, we look forward to the updates.

Muslim pilgrim home safely

Our Mecca travellers have also been forced to go home. It takes a while for all pilgrims to return home; many travellers are away from home a bit longer than expected or cannot start their journey. Samuel was still on the way when he also had to drop out at Eskişehir to continue the journey to Mecca in due course. At home, he could immediately participate in painting, digging and what else is waiting for you when you return home. Samuel is now safely home and we hope to hear other sounds soon from his wonderful journey to the holy places.
