Thermal Radiation is in the Infrared (IR) electromagnetic spectrum. All forms of IR are invisible to the naked eye, which is why we need special detectors (sensors) to convert this to a visible image that we can understand.
Many objects emit heat as radiation in the Long-Wavelength Infrared (LWIR) spectrum, and this is what Seek Thermal cameras “see”. You can think of thermal radiation as emitted just like light, only that we can't see it without a thermal imager.
Thermal radiation can penetrate through most objects that your eye cannot: dust , smoke , atmosphere , fog , smog, glare, rain, etc.

Sensor Flex IR Module to PCBA cable - Seek 710
The Mosaic Sensor Flex connects the Mosaic Core to the coprocessor board, or to the coprocessor on a user’s main board.
The Sensor Flex is not a straight-through flex so it can not be used in any orientation.
When using the Sensor Flex to connect to a system main board that houses the coprocessor, the orientation of the flex and the connectors must be considered.
Altium layout files of the Sensor Flex can be provided as reference for users designing new flex lengths or shapes.
