How do PPTC Resettable fuses work?

The resettable fuses of Fuzetec™ are designed and made of patented novel PPTC material in thin chip form where conductive particles are dispersed in a polymer that has a crystalline structure.

At normal operating conditions there are numerous chains forming conductive paths throughout the PPTC material. Under fault conditions (Tripped State), excessive current flows through the PPTC device and the PPTC material heats up.

This makes the polymer matrix’s morphology change from crystalline to amorphous. Under these conditions the conductive particles move apart from each other, most of them no longer conduct current and the resistance of the device increases sharply.

Upon fault current being removed, the resettable fuse is reset and allows the current to flow through the circuit again.

This versatile module combines WiFi and Bluetooth® radios, plus an ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller.

The LM833 utilises a powerful Infineon chipset which enables the LM833 HCI Module to be compatible with the latest Android / Linux platforms. It’s SMT side and bottom pads allow for easy manufacture and placement within your product.

The LM833 module incorporates an intelligent coexistences mechanism for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n via SDIO and Dual Mode Bluetooth® v5.2 via UART. This is ideal for significantly minimizing the BoM cost and PCB space. Available with IPEX connector or with integrated PCB antenna.

Supports Bluetooth adaptive power management mechanism 19mm x 12mm x 2mm.

The TSDP18xx is an ultra low-power, stand-alone, 8 channel 1-bit PDM to 8 channel 24-bit Linear PCM, Time-Division Multiplexed format converter, supporting Digital MEMS Microphone (DMIC) sampling rates ranging from 8kHz up to 384kHz with configurable oversampling ranging from 8x to 256x.

TSDP18xx I2S or Left-Justified stereo output formats as well as TDM format support up to 8 channels.

The device enables a wide variety of configurations enabling 32-bit, 24-bit or 16-bit word lengths, clock polarity inversion, and more to maximize compatibility with most any DSP or SOC.

The TSDP18xx consumes less than 1uA at 1.8V in standby mode, and with an active current consumption of 2,68mA at 8 Channel TDM mode, it truly is an ultra low-power consumption solution.

Applications include all 1 to 8 digital microphone included devices like: Smart speakers, Voice assistance enabled devices, audio / video conferencing systems, AR/VR systems, and many more.

Getting to know the EveryWord™ developer kit - ArkX Labs

The EveryWord™ AVS developer kit is a full, self-contained voice processing unit that can be used as a stand-alone user interface for a cloud voice assistant, such as Amazon Alexa, or as a voice AFE (Audio Front End) for a separate system.

The top side of the EveryWord™ module includes a center “Mic Control” button and six microphone ports distributed along the surface. The USB, power and audio connectors can be found on the side and back of the device.
