AIoT - Artificial Intelligence of Things

When we compare the world we live in today and the world just a few years ago, we know today is vastly different. The rise of IoT – Internet of Things – is one of the most profound changes. With IoT in mind, a big trend in the tech world is the rise of AI - Artificial Intelligence.

DC Power Jacks - Summit Electronics

DC power jacks are designed to supply Direct Current to devices. A DC power jack is responsible for receiving power and is usually mounted on the PCB or chassis of an electronic device. DC power receptacles are also intended to receive power but are instead found on the end of a power cord.

A DC jack is a component used in many electronic devices that allows a steady power source to be plugged in. Though electronics require direct current (DC) power, alternating current (AC) is the type of electricity supplied to and available in household wall sockets, mainly because of its ability to be delivered over long distances without losing strength. Therefore with most electronics, an AC adapter connected to a DC jack is necessary to supply power in a usable way.

The power jacks are available in THT and SMT versions and have different center pins to fit the most common standard plugs.
